The Concept
The adventure continues with every corner you explore, offering a narrative as rich and intriguing as the surroundings themselves.
“But some day you will be old enough to start reading fairy tales again.”

Interior Design
After celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2023, Torel Palace Lisbon has undergone a stunning transformation, preserving its renowned service excellence while embracing a fresh new spirit. The boutique hotel now features an additional palacete with 10 rooms and suites, a pool, a classic English-inspired bar, a spa with a hammam, and a tower offering panoramic views of Lisbon.
The updated design, by Isabel Sá Nogueira, beautifully blends historical charm with contemporary luxury, enhancing the experience with a touch of elegance and comfort. Common Areas
The common areas include two outdoor pools: the Terrace Pool and the Garden Pool. Dining options feature two distinct restaurants, Black Pavilion and 2Monkeys, along with seasonal poolside bars, Terrace Bar and Pool Bar, and Duke’s Bar, which is open year-round.
The Calla Wellness & Spa offers a gym, two treatment rooms, a beauty room, a Hammam, including a traditional Turkish bath, and a small courtyard. Additionally, the Atelier, located near the reception, showcases Portuguese products and various amenities. The Sunset Deck and Torel Tower provide beautiful views and relaxing spaces.
Torel Tower
For Torel Boutiques, true sophistication lies in the exceptional nature of each experience. At the heart of the newly revived Casa do Lavra is its crowning jewel: a tower built in the late 19th century, once the highest point in Lisbon. Ascending the Torel Tower is an experience unto itself – an ascent surrounded by antique stained glass, culminating in breathtaking views of the enchanting Portuguese capital.
