At 2Monkeys, Chef Vitor Matos' first project in Lisbon, friendship and creativity merge to offer a unique gastronomic experience in a relaxed atmosphere, with a sophisticated approach. Our elegant and intimate atmosphere will transport you to an environment inspired by nature, where you can surround yourself with natural materials, adding an organic and authentic touch to the space.

THE CONCEPT

Our unique concept of "fun fine-dining" invites you to dine in the kitchen with our two chefs, Vitor Matos and Francisco Quintas. They will prepare your dinner and guide you through a surprise menu, sharing the inspiration behind each dish.
There will be no shortage of surprises and emotions in our "show cooking" space. Our two chefs bring their similarities and differences to the kitchen, resulting in a modern "haute cuisine" that is both immersive and personalized.
Sitting around a single central counter, you will be able to witness our chefs in action, exploring their culinary creativity and bringing a complete sensory experience designed to highlight ingredients in their purest form.

Chef Francisco Quintas

Born in Coimbra, Francisco Quintas describes himself as an "ambitious" young chef with the will to contribute positively to the lives of all those around him. Following his internship at the starred Aquavit in London, he worked in the kitchens of three Michelin-starred Boury in Belgium and De Librije in Holland before becoming sous chef at Likoke in France. Back in Portugal, he ended up joining the team at Casa da Calçada in Amarante, before travelling to the capital to join Chef Vítor Matos on this new gastronomic journey.

Recognized for his exceptional use of fresh seasonal and regional products, Vítor Matos is responsible for a cuisine that combines tradition and modernity. With a professional career divided between Portugal and Switzerland, our Michelin-starred chef also holds titles such as Chef of the Year 2003 (Edições do Gosto), Chef of the Year 2013 (Prémios Revista Wine), Best Chef of Portugal 2014 (Prémios Arco Atlântico Gastro) and the "Chefs de l'Avenir" award in 2011 from the International Academy of Gastronomy in Paris.

From Tuesday to Saturday, from 7:30pm to 11pm.

Seats are limited to 14 people per service, and booking in advance is required.
